Product Details: Vitale Solar Shade with 1% Open Material
The 1% open Vitale Solar Shades is a tightly woven fabric that blocks up to 99% of UV light for the most sun protection and privacy available in a solar fabric. The openness of solar fabrics means people outside can still see in when lights are on at night.
This shade is a modern take on classic window treatments and can be used in both residential and commercial applications. Solar shades help manage the sun's heat, glare and UV rays while maintaining the outward view. Protect furniture and flooring with a 1% openness sun screen shade. In addition to fabric style, choose the openness level of your solar shades according to how you would like to regulate the light. The easy to care for fabrics are made of 75% PVC and 25% polyester. Tighter weaves provide greater sun control but as the weave becomes tighter the vision through the fabric is reduced.
Special Note: The width of the shade with the hardware attached to the ends of the roller tube is called the "tip to tip" measurement. Please be aware that the fabric cannot be and will not be as wide as the "tip to tip" measurement which will cause light gaps on the sides of the shades. This is true for all roller shades. On inside mount shades there will be a light gap of approximately 3/8"-1" per side depending on control type and fascia/cassette type. While we normally prefer inside mount, when possible for all window coverings, with roller shades outside mount provides optimal light and glare control.
