Form follows function with easy-to-operate Graber LightWeaves Solar Shades. These stylish yet classic shades protect against glare and UV rays while maintaining the vista outside your window. Available in a multitude of fabrics, solar shades can turn a room into a bold statement or perfectly complement traditional decor.

This shade is a modern take on classic window treatments and can be used in both residential and commercial applications. Solar shades help manage the sun's heat, glare and UV rays while maintaining the outward view. There are several style fabrics that offer a wide range of opacity levels. Fabric openness ranges from 1% to 10%.

In addition to fabric style, choose the openness level of your solar shades according to how you would like to regulate the light. The easy to care for fabrics are made of vinyl coated and PVC coasted yarns. Tighter weaves provide greater sun control but as the weave becomes tighter the vision through the fabric is reduced.

This shade is equipped with a continuous loop chain operating system. The color coordinated beaded chain and clutch make raising and lowering the shade easy. A stainless steel option is also available (see options). The chain remains at the same length, regardless of shade position. The clutch has a brake which enables the roller shade to hold any desired position precisely and maintain that height with zero slippage. A safety chain guide is included to prevent the chain from becoming a strangulation hazard. Please specify left or right chain location.

CONTINUOUS LOOP LIFT:
A new and improved tensioner device applies tension to the cord or chain loop to prevent it from loosening and forming a strangulation hazard.

*For products with cord/chain tension devices, it is critical that the cord/chain tension
device is installed correctly for the product to fully and easily operate. Failure to properly install the cord/chain tension device may result in damage to the cord/chain, and
installers will be responsible for the damage as it is not covered by the product warranty


As standard the shade does not come with a valance but if you prefer the look of a valance there are several types available as an option - cassette valance with fabric insert, aluminum fascia, contoured fabric wrapped valance or flat fabric wrapped valance. Light Weaves solar shades are virtually maintenance-free. Only periodic vacuuming and an occasional cleaning using a mild detergent, soft brushing and thorough rinsing is required.

Special Note: The width of the shade with the hardware attached to the ends of the roller tube is called the "tip to tip" measurement. Please be aware that the fabric cannot be and will not be as wide as the "tip to tip" measurement which will cause light gaps on the sides of the shades. This is true for all roller shades. On inside mount Graber Light Weaves shades there will be a light gap of approximately 3/8"-1" per side depending on control type and fascia/cassette type. While we normally prefer inside mount, when possible for all window coverings, with roller shades outside mount provides optimal light and glare control.

Factory deductions:
Outside mount: No deductions on headrail, 1/2" light gap on either side of fabric.
Inside mount: Continuous Cord Loop: 1/8" headrail deduction with 1/2" light gap per side. Cordless: 1/8" headrail deduction with 3/4" light gap per side.
Cassette option: 1/4” headrail deduction with light gap of 11/16" per side.

Do not account for factory fabric deductions when measuring for your shades.
