This fabric is room darkening/blackout which is great for nurseries and home theaters or any room that you want to darken. Room darkening and blackout are terms that the industry uses for fabrics in which light doesn't penetrate. Of course some light will still enter the room from the sides top and bottom of the shade.

In the tradition of cellular shades, this Single Honeycomb shade is an attractive alternative to double honeycomb fabrics. The material combines light diffusion and Energy Smart efficiency in an elegant single honeycomb shade. The durable polyester fabric has superior pleat retention for clean lines top to bottom. A combination of reliable performance and maximum value in one shade. This shade is the perfect shade for those who are looking for an elegant but economic solution for window coverings. The cell structure has an insulation R-Value of 3.2 and helps keeps homes more comfortable year round. Virtuoso will provide years of durable beauty.

The standard shade has cord controls but, as an option, you can select Omni-Rise/Smoothy Continuous Cord Loop. For more information just click the red question mark behind the option below. The cord control is on the right side as standard but you may select left side controls at no additional charge. The standard corded shade features the exclusive Break Through Cord Connector. Designed to break apart if a child or pet becomes entangled in the pull cord, the Breakthrough Cord Connector meets all American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Window Covering Manufacturers Association (WCMA) standards.

You may also have your shade made with no cords by checking the box for Cordless. For more information just click the red question mark behind the option below. The cordless shade operates by simply pulling down or pushing up on the bottom rail. Cordless shades are safer for homes with children or pets because there are No Cords hanging from the shade.

PLEASE NOTE: If you want your shade to be cordless you must check the option box for Cordless. If you want your shade to be cordless and also have the top down bottom up feature then you must check the box for the Cordless with Top Down Bottom Up.

Please note that shades wider than 120" will be made as two shades on one headrail.
