Worry-free Custom Blinds & Shades Ordering
Measuring windows for custom blinds and shades is a very simple and quick task. Although it's rare, occasionally a customer will measure a window incorrectly, enter an order incorrectly, or order the wrong color, etc. We fully understand that mistakes can happen; after all we're all human. For this reason, hotBlinds has designed a program that we call our "Oops! Policy." Basically, this means that hotBlinds will absorb part of the cost to get the issue resolved.
The Oops! Policy provides a solution that is substantially less costly for our customers than just ordering a replacement blind. If you make a mistake hotBlinds will either have the shade or blind brought back and modified or we will have the blind or shade re-made. If it can be modified we will charge you only the actual cost of the modification and hotBlinds will split the shipping charges with you. If the blind has to be re-made we will substantially discount the new blind or shade and we'll pay the shipping cost. The Oops! Policy discount varies from product to product but it will be a minimum of 25%.
It works this way: Let's say that you follow our measuring instructions and the correct width of the window is 39 1/2". But when placing your order you inadvertently entered 29 1/2" for the width. Obviously, the finished blind will not fit your window. In this case the blind has to be remade and hotBlinds will discount the price of the replacement blind or shade by a minimum of 25% and we will also pay the shipping charges to get the replacement blind or shade to you.
