Our Home Theater/Media Room/Lab Black-Out Side and Sill systems are ideal for home theaters, laboratories, media rooms and other rooms where light and glare are undesirable. Our Louvolite or Primo roller shade is required to use with this product. Near total black-out can be achieved by using the Primo or Louvolite roller shade with Black-Out Fabrics and our Side and Sill Channels around the sides of the window encasement and window sill to eliminate light leakage. A standard fascia and back plate are required to stop light from entering at the top of the window. The Side and Sill Systems are designed for inside and outside mounted roller shades. The outside edges and bottom of the shade's fabric slides inside the u-shaped channel as the roller shade is being lowered which virtually prevents light from entering from around the sides and bottom of the roller shade. The side and sill channels are available in white, bronze and aluminum.
THIS SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR USE ONLY WITH OUR PRIMO & LOUVOLITE LINE OF ROLLER SHADES.
The standard Side and Sill System is priced at $4.50 per linear foot. The Deluxe System, shown above, is priced at $7.25 per linear foot. The difference in the two systems is the depth of the U shaped channels. The standard Side & Sill System is adequate for most applications and is normally the system we recommend.
