Description

This is a premium Basswood blind with 2” slats. When blinds are made of wood Basswood is the first choice because it’s light but very durable and the fine graining accepts paints and stains really well. Check out the huge offering of desinger paints and stain. This blind is distinguished by quality craftsmanship and durability. For strength and durability, the roll-formed low profile head rail is made of heavy duty Phosphate treated steel. It’s 2” x 1 ½” high. For added strength the ends of the head rail are equipped with end stiffeners. The head rail has baked on polyester enamel finish. All components are color coordinated. The blind has a trapezoid bottom rail which allows for tighter slat closure when tilting. The lift cords are full 1.8mm.

The operating components are secured inside the headrail by means of snap-in fittings which means that components can easily be replaced if necessary. The Cord Tilt gear and housing of the tilt mechanism are made of steel which allows the acetal thermoplastic wheel to rotate smooth and with minimal noise. On the Wand Tilt Option the gear and stem of the tilt mechanism are made of steel providing superior durability. The worm and gear arrangement is entirely enclosed inside an acetal thermoplastic housing. The cord lock incorporates a stainless steel wear guard and has a crash-resistant safety feature that locks the blind automatically once the lift cords are released. To provide smooth operation and tight slat closure, the cord tilter utilizes a steel gear housing, while the wand tilter option incorporates heavy duty components ensuring longevity. The blind comes standard with cord tilter but wand is available at no extra charge. The blind comes with a 3 ¼” Royal Crown Valance. The 5 /12” Barrington Valance is optional for a small price upcharge.

As standard this blind has cord tilter but wand is available at no additional charge. If you want wand tilt please check the appropriate box in the options section.

The blind comes with Universal box brackets that are color coordinated.

1 ½” color cloth tapes are available, as well as other options -such as 2 and 3 blinds on one head rail, wand tilt, tile cutouts, custom control placement and routeless.
