Plantation Shutter/Blinds are from the Woodwinds Collection manufactured by Comfortex, one of the most respected companies in the window coverings industry. Plantation Shutter Blinds combine the elegant look of a Plantation Shutter at a fraction of the shutter cost. They feature 2 ½ inch Smooth Shutter/Slats that have “elliptical” shape. The look is reminiscent of high-end plantation shutter louvers. The elliptical slat design provides excellent light control. Cord Tilt is standard. This blind comes with a Crown Valance at no extra charge.

Woodwinds Plantation Shutter Blinds are made with a patented blend of real American hardwood and advanced thermal polymers. They are UV resistant and are unaffected by temperature and humidity extremes. The wood alloy material resists warping, chipping and fading. They have the traditional beauty of milled wood but they stand up to heat, cold, sun and humidity like no other wood blinds can. The patented process enables them to retain their original finish year after year. When exposed to moisture, sun and scratching, this product out performed both milled wood and PVC slats.

These blinds are washable and can actually be totally submersed in water if necessary. They are inherently dust repellent and have a lifetime warranty. Beautiful but functional, these blinds are perfect for families with children.
