These blinds feature 2 slats made from real North American hardwood. Comfortex Basswood real wood blinds combine the warmth of premium North American basswood with the proven performance of a superior window blind operating system. The result is classic styling, beautiful elegance and a lifetime of smooth operation. This blind has a heavy duty steel head rail and a trapezoidal bottom rail.
There are nine colors and stains. The painted slats are smoothly finished and the stains are extremely eye catching and vivid similar to what is found in fine wood furniture. The three white colors are shown below. Basswoods wood blinds are standard as traditional routed blinds. Or, if you prefer more privacy, a routeless "no-holes" option is available. Use an ordinary soft, clean cloth, chemically-treated dust cloth, dusting mitt, vacuum cleaner with brush attachment or cylindrical dust brushes especially designed for blinds. Lower the blind to its full length, then tilt the slats almost fully closed and dust. Then do the reverse side of the slats in the same manner. In order to reach the dust where the slats overlap, it is best not to fully close the blind in either position. Production time for this blind is 2 to 5 business days.
