This is a 2” horizontal blind with real wood slats. The slats are hand selected kiln dried hardwood that resist warping and fading. The head rail is heavy duty steel not plastic. Steel insures that the slats will not sag. This blind will last for years. The cords and ladders are color coordinated. The tassels are real wood not plastic. An attractive real wood valance is included at no extra charge. The valance covers the head rail for a finished look. [Please Note: outside mount blinds will have no valance returns.] Cleaning Dust, vacuum with soft brush attachment, lemon oil or furniture polish. Wood is a natural material and a natural characteristic of wood slats is that there will be variation in color and grain from slat to slat or within a slat. Small knots, sugar deposits and such occur naturally and actually enhance the beauty and value of real wood. Production time for this blind is 3 to 4 business days.
