Created by a sophisticated laminated process, Cocoon fabric is exceptionally smooth and supple yet holds pleats crisply. Blackout means that light does not penetrate the fabric. A blackout shade provides total privacy while blocking out light. (Of course light can enter from the side, top and bottom of the window). Total blackout is achieved with an ultra thin layer of light blocking film that is sealed between two layers of soft fabric to create a true blackout shade. All Cocoon shades have a neutral color backing for a uniform street side appearance. These shades offer superior energy efficiency keeping your room more comfortable year round.
